RESONATORS / SWEET LOVE AFFAIR :: CYANTIFIC AND JSTAR REMIXES!!

06 Dec 2010 / 1 Comment / in :Resonators, Releases/by Adam

Having turned heads with the original take, and dub version, of this lovers rock anthem in the Summer, two of the UK’s hottest producers quickly got on board to give us a couple of very unique twists to Resonators’ soulful reggae masterpiece.

Jungle don Cyantific provides a very cheeky d&b re-rub, complete with half-step breakdowns that make this version a piece of dance floor fire; and on the flip, bootleg dancehall king, Jstar, takes us down a more digital road, whilst losing none of the sublime soulfulness of the original, and keeps things skanking in trademark fashion.

Produced by the legendary Nick Mannaseh, the original version of “Sweet Love Affair” gained radio play and club support from David Roddigan, Mark Lamarr and many more. This tasty little remix package is guaranteed to blow up the dance!

We can’t think of a better way to finish the year!
