Firstly… We NEVER share your data with anyone outside of our business. On occasion we allow third parties to be included in our newsletter, but even this has been rare in the last 20 years.

We collect two types of data – the data we receive from selling music, merchandise or tickets on Bandcamp, which includes addresses, times, value of purchase and a few more tedious bits (although we’re more than happy to fully disclose the extent of this data with you at any time). This allows us to account to our artists and in some cases make decisions about how we produce and sell music.

The other is the email addresses you offer us when you join our mailing list. This info we use simply to contact you about our events, new releases and general news about the business, in the hope that we keep in touch, grow to know and love each other, and continue to support each other’s endeavours.

The data is held on secure servers at Bandcamp and our email service provider Mailchimp. Both of whom are highly secure and GDPR compliant.

Our opt in process for contacting you via email or other services now requires an explicit opt in from you. No automatically ticked boxes. Every time we contact you, we also provide a simple and clear unsubscribe opportunity.

Should you have problems with this, there will always be someone at Wah Wah 45s ready to help you.
