Following the success of SIDDA, and the follow up, Rapids, featuring Danny Kuttner, the third and final single to be taken from the album is the electro-acoustic stunner, Eventide.Isaac explains the significance of this track and its place in the album:
“Eventide opens the B side of the album. On flipping the vinyl we are invited to face our innermost being in that moment of the day called Eventide – when the sunlight lets its shadow go ahead, right after the golden hour. Perfect timing to internalise the energy of the day founded on the A side.
The song drags a simple melody that jumps up on an arpeggio and then pulls back in, almost chromatically: swinging at dusk between inside and outside; us and them.
Eventide is a song that collects all the A side acoustic yet organic sounds of the desert to meet with the electrified atmospheres of a night club at the core of a jungle city – in search of balance between sand/woods/water and electronic circuits & beaming nightlights.”
