In anticipation of the release of a very exciting triple pack vinyl special featuring exclusive and in-demand remixes from artists across the Wah Wah 45s family, we thought we’d treat you to a never before available remix for label stalwarts Soothsayers, courtesy of rising star Ethan West. The young, Liverpool based producer, DJ and curator delivers a suitably uplifting, bruk influenced dance floor rework of the title track from the Afro-dub outfit’s recent, hugely popular LP Fly Higher.
Ethan’s remix is the first to be revealed from an exciting vinyl package that also includes exclusive and previously digital only remixes from IG Culture, Aroop Roy, Session Victim, Jamz Supernova and many more.
“What a peach of an LP and with a host of names from the top drawer! Wah Wah 45’s is one of those important labels, quietly delivering release after release of quality music which defies easy-pigeonholing and is all the better for it. This LP definitely deserves digging into properly but on first listen I can already hear some favourites with Laroye shining through with his deft, musical touch and production finesse. Also loving the sound of the IG, Aroop, Delfonic and Session Victim mixes. Congratulations to everyone involved on this landmark project!” JIMPSTER
“These are all DOPE..” KAI ALCE
