In various guises Benedic Lamdin has produced 11 albums since 2004, some solo, some with the Nostalgia Octet and some with other folks altogether. Not only is Mr. Lamdin a producer, remixer, musician and engineer, but also a damned fine DJ. His sets are as eclectic as his recorded work, with a penchant for dirty funk, deep spiritual soul and heavy tropical rhythms.
The new Nostalgia 77 album, “The Sleepwalking Society” is out this month on Tru Thoughts recordings, and we’re chuffed that Ben agreed to celebrate its release with us –
