The second single to be taken from the Part-Time Heroes’ critically acclaimed album, “Lightfalls”, once again features the lush vocals of Sarah Scott, a full strength string section, an unexpected cover version and some of the finest producers around today working together to creat one heavyweight package.

“Done” is a soul stirring and stunning lament to a lost relationship, that can be found here not only in its original form, but with bass worrying takes from both Throwing Snow and Rough Fields, who weigh in with two very special mixes indeed – the former delivering a foot friendly dance floor cracker, and the later coming up with a juke version that blew our minds from the get-go here at Wah Wah Towers. Not only that, we’ve added something perhaps a little unexpected to the pot as PTH cover The Boss! That’s right Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark” gets a subtle Heroes make over, featuring Scott’s incredible vocals once again and an understated, shuffling 4/4 beat that makes this version something very special indeed.

“Done” marks the next stage of the Part-Time Heroes story, one which should solidify their status as champions of the UK underground electronic soul scene.

“WOW! Bruce Springsteen is watching from the wings as PTH take over the stage with their rendition of Dancing In The Dark. Arms crossed throughout the rendition, he wears a clearly visible frown on his weathered face but inside those pointed leather boots his toes are tapping to the beat. Don’t fight it Bruce!” DJ Baz Hickey (Ireland)

“This Bruce Springsteen cover is ace!” DJ Kinski (Germany)

“The remake of Springsteen is absolutely fantastic!!” Cesare Cera (Irma Records, Italy)

“The new EP from the PART-TIME HEROES is awesome! Love all tunes and versions on this release.” Dr. Best (Radio-Z, Germany)

“Already been playing some music from the latest PTH album and feeling it. But I must admit I was waiting for some remixes 🙂 Throwing Snow’s remix is very beautiful, especially when it gets more melodical towards the end. And the Rough Fields remix’s deep textures and beats (which I’ve never heard from him before I believe?) take you in and wrap around you very nicely. The Springsteen acoustic version was touching! Liking this a lot.” DJ Roni Fialkow (Tel Aviv, Israel)

“Throwing Snow Remix for me!” Hector Pizarro (Chile Con Mix, France)

“I have to say I appreciate a good Boss cover and this has been done really well. It will fit right in with my end of night set list. I can see a few heads turning and people rushing up to the decks this weekend!” Jim (The Soul Purpose Radio Show, UK)

“‘Done’ is great tune. I love the Throwing Snow Remix! I’ll play it on 21.07.2012 at the ’45 RPM’ radio show. Thank you for this unique music, man!” DJ Dobromir Marzov (Hungary)
