Wah Wah 45s present the second single to be taken from the long awaited new album from Afro-dub masters, Soothsayers. With a history that goes back three decades, having released two classic LPs (Tradition and We Are Many) and numerous EPs and remixes on the imprint, the band deliver one of their finest pieces of music to date.
In a world that feels more divided and chaotic than ever, in the heart of all of us we know that Love Is Still the Answer and this is the message conveyed via beautifully warm vocalisations written and sung by Julia Biel over a deep, bass-heavy Afro-soul groove, alongside Soothsayers’ trademark horn motifs and vocal harmonies – a sonically engaging invitation to dance, think and feel.
This song calls us back to our shared humanity and the energy that connects us all. It’s an invitation to tune into what really matters, and to rediscover beauty where we may have forgotten to seek it. Many of us feel powerless to have any influence over global challenges and the song is a reminder that by simply choosing love we can reclaim something fundamental for ourselves and take strength from that choice. Love is Still The Answer!

Lovely – airplay immediately! “But of course 5***** They’ve found the true sound they’ve been building all these years ever since Idris stopped his car and called out to me as I was walking along the pavement – so he could give me the very first demo CD that Soothsayers made some many years ago!
